ABOUT US

The Gamemasons Society is a private, exclusive non-profit society that arose from obscure origins in the late 21th to early 22th century. Gamemasons head College is located in Vancouver Canada. The fraternity is administratively organized into independent Colleges, each of which governs its own jurisdiction. Along with preserving the legacy and dignity of the industry, and the safeguard of design knowledge passed down through the ages, the society focuses on social events to raise money for notable industry projects, charities, and awards in the industry.

 

Many events are held during monthly meetings. Such events include, but are not limited to: Gaming nights, award nights, rituals, debates and fundraisers. If that was not enough, the society is a great opportunity to network with likeminded designers of all programs.The society is also home to a vast library of knowledge open to all members. This and other privileges are granted to any and all members. The library itself is more than just a collection of books. The society prides itself in storing and safekeeping classic games, game guides, and systems; everything from the original Nintendo to the modern Playstation 4.

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

 

Although we, as humans, have to make a living, the first and ultimate goal of any Gamemason is to please the player or buyer. We wish to do things in our careers to please the person(s) were designing for, and not just for max profits. In a primarily male dominated industry, we as Gamemasons take pride in opening out doors to other new interesting people. Gamemasons take pride in our male member's talent in fashion and our female member's abilities in gaming. Whether African American, Caucasian,  Chinese, girl or boy, you are accepted as equal as a Gamemason.

 

Everything in life involves studying and learning. Gamemasons always take any chance they can to learn and improve their skills. Design is a lifestyle, not a job. Along with society projects, Gamemasons like to make a positive impact in the community. Gamemasons will often hold sales or events to raise money for charity or scholarship purposes. Along with design, a person must also be well balanced. With piece of mind, great works can be created.
