Annual Nintendo 64 Fest

 

On May 25th of every year, the Gamemasons hold a classic Nintendo 64 festival where the public is invited to come and play on a fully functioning N64. The games offered include: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros, 007 Goldeneye, Mario kart 64, Bass Hunter, and many, many more! The event costs $2.00 to enter.

 

Dinner Fundraisers

 

Once in a while, the society will hold a fundraiser dinner for a charitable cause. Plate settings can range from ten to twenty dollars. Society members are allowed to bring guests. Special guest speakers will also come if available to talk and give advice about the industry.

 

Charity Tables

 

A few times a month, select society members will set up a table and ask for charitable donations from the public. Small rewards will be given out to those who donate. Rewards can range from novelty items to hot dogs.

 

Yearly Gamemason Awards

 

Much like the Nobel prizes for science and math, the Gamemasons offer up awards for ideas or people who do something revolutionary in the industry. Categories include: Programming, Design, Art, Sound/Music, Story, Innovation, and Animation.

 

Indie Grants

 

When the chance comes along, the society takes pride in offering up a grant/funding boost for small teams to help publish their work.
